Jaymark Hendricks Regis (Sep 07, 1993 - Apr 04, 2012)
A hemophilia patient from the town of Lagang, Carcar passed away on April 04, 2012. The day before, Jaymark had been helping father with masonry work. Later during the evening, he could no longer lift his hand and and had trouble balancing his head. He was sent to the local hospital in Carcar at dawn but he didn't last for long at the emergency room.
HAPI-C visited the wake on April 08. There, the father informed me that Jaymark also fell from a motorcycle weeks earlier. The father's fellow tricycle (pedicab) drivers told him during the wake that Jaymark took his father's motorcycle while he was away, but he fell on his back while driving it. Jaymark never told his family about this incident because he and his siblings are not allowed by their parents to drive the vehicle.
His older brother James Neil Regis also had a near-death bleeding episode several years ago, also because of falling from a motorcycle. We suspect that Jaymark had bleeding in his spine, and eventually spread to his central nervous system.
